Disney Day 2

We got there and went directly to go on our first ride, the Great Movie Ride!
It is the cheesiest ride ever but I absolutely love it. I love seeing all the different movies.

After that ride we headed over towards Rockin Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror. We got our handy dandy fastpasses for Rockin Roller Coaster and then decided to go wait in line for Tower of Terror.

Here is Ashley, me and Britt waiting in the Tower of Terror line!
Such a fun ride!

After Tower of Terror we headed over to the The Drew Carey sound show thing.
We were wasting some time before Rockin Roller Coaster.
After that we decided to go watch Beauty and the Beast!
It was absolutely adorable, it is definitely my favorite Disney movie. Belle is also my favorite princess.

After the show we headed over to Rockin Roller Coaster, got to love those fastpasses. I was so nervous! It was the first time since 6th grade I had been on the ride. So we pretty much had no wait and off we went. It takes off so fast, it took my breath away. However I semi kept my eyes open the whole time. We got off and I was a teeny tiny dizzy. After we got outside it was like a 10 minute so we decided to go on it again! This time I kept my eyes open the whole time!

After Rockin we went back and did Tower of Terror again. Then we headed over towards Toy Story Mania. It was 180 minute wait, so horrible, we decided against that one. So we headed over to the Backlot Tour.

We turned around the corner of one the parts of the tour and I freaked out . . .
it was the chicken coop from the Hannah Montana movie! I know I am a loser but I was so excited.

After we went on the Backlot Tour we decided to head over to Lights, Motors, Action stunt show. I had always heard about the show but had never been.

Britt and I were a little bored before the show started.

It was a CRAZY amazing show.

After the show we headed over to Indiana Jones stunt show, it was pretty good as usual.

Then we headed over to the amphitheater to wait in line for Fantasmic!
We got there an hour early, that we had heard was the best time to get there.

Here is me, Britt and Ashley waiting in line, being all weird.

Ashley took this amazing picture -

Finally the gates were opened and man was it a long walk.
We finally made it and had a whole hour to waste before the show started.

This wasn't even the whole place, this was about half the size.
By the end of the night the whole entire amphitheater was doing the wave back and forth. It was hilarious.

Finally it was time for the show, and it was so good. Half of the show was projected on water that was being shot into the air. It really was FANTASMIC!

After the show we headed out back to the park. Ashley and Jordan ended the night on Tower of Terror while Britt and I relaxed.

We also ran into our new best friends, who were 12, very annoying and we just so happened to see them everyday for the rest of the trip.
We then headed back to the hotel after we got some McDonalds and Taco Bell.

Disney Day 1

We left at around six in the morning. Almost had to turn around thirty minutes into our trip because Britt lost her contact. However she just decided to wear glasses. Then Jordan's glasses broke :( . Ashley and I had to be the eyes for our group. The trip down was quick and fun. Yay for animal crackers and Disney music the whole 2 hour trip! We got to our hotel and then it was officially . . .

Our first day at Disney, how exciting! We got to Animal Kingdom and off we went to Mount Everest. 20 minute wait you betcha thats good. After that we headed off to the little kid section. We went on the little kid ride which happens to be the scariest ride/most fun ride ever.

Then we headed over to Dino Land USA!
We met up with a new friend.
Then we told our new dinosaur friend goodbye and headed to the Dinosaur ride. I HATE this ride, so I definitely kept my eyes closed the WHOLE time.

We then headed over towards the Safari ride, with a quick pit stop at the ICEE booth!

The Safari ride wait was the longest wait of the whole trip, it was about 40 minutes long.
Here is Britt and I on the Safari ride!
After the Safari ride we headed over to the Tree of Life. On our way there we met the monkey from The Jungle Book. This was the first character I have ever had my picture taken with!
[ I always grew up being COMPLETELY scared of these giant stuffed animals. However I think I am starting to like them :). ]

Speaking of liking my new best friends . . .

Its Pooh! It was the cutest thing when you walk up he hugs you and then gives you a kiss on the cheek and he makes the cutest MWAH sound. Pooh was definitely my favorite. How could you not love that tub of sweet honey? haha

Eeyore was just so darn cute.
Don't you just love my Minnie ears? They became a permanent accessory and received loads of looks and compliments.

T - I - Double Grr - ER
AKA Tigger

We finally made it to the Tree of Life, we had some french fries and onion rings. We got glared at and almost attacked by about 5 different birds and then headed over to the Bug's Life show.

After this we headed over to Camp Mickey/Minnie. I never realized that this place was so big. It is like a whole other park inside Animal Kingdom.

By the way it was the afternoon and the sun was beating down and we were dying of heat stroke, so The Festival of the Lion King it was!
Not only was it inside that chilling air condition room but it was a GREAT show !

Each set of bleachers got to be a different animal, we got to be with Simba, we were the lions.
These monkey men were crazy! They were flinging themselves and each other all over the place. The even had a girl they threw in the air and she spun around like a bird! CRAZY!

We left the show and headed to the river rapid ride. On the way there we ran into the end of the parade. We got to walk behind it and it felt like I was in the parade. It is probably the closest I will ever get to being in one. haha
I opted out of the rapid ride and opted in for another ICEE.

After the rapids the park was pretty much closing down so we headed back to the hotel.

Now our hotel was not a Disney hotel. However our hotel offered a bus that would pick you up and take you to the transportation center where you could then take another bus to the park of your choice. The morning went pretty smooth, the bus was a few minutes late, but beggars can't be choosers, so no big deal.

On the way back to the hotel . . . BIG DEAL! WE WERE ON THE BUS FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF. We went to all four parks. We had standing room only and that was filling up quickly. There was no air conditioning on this so called bus and the bus was also falling apart. Luckily we had seats, but everyone was fading fast. Babies were crying, I was almost crying, it was bad.
Let's just say I drove to the rest of the parks for the rest of the trip.

For dinner that night we went to Universal City Walk. I bought a pretty dress. We then had dinner at Hard Rock! I had the BEST fruit drink EVERRR, so good!
We took a quick walk around to all the shops and then headed back to the hotel.
We took showers and then straight up passed out from our wonderful first day in Disney World!

Disney World

Let me tell you, Disney World is my favorite place in the entire world.
It is always so fun and really is magical.

The first time I visited the most magical place on earth was when I was 11 years old. We went for my birthday. However at this point in my life the highlight of the trip was swimming in the pool, it is all I wanted to do. What a weird kid, haha.
Ever since that first trip though Disney has become a home away from home of sorts. I was there at least once a year and have been quite a few times.

Most of the time I went with my mom and the friend of my choice.
On one of the trips I actually went with my dad and three of my best friends. That trip could pretty much use its own blog post. Lets just say the boy clock was invented, there were countless girl fights and it was in the middle of the summer in Florida aka Disney World the HOTTEST PLACE on earth! I did not become insanely dehydrated and almost miss the last couple days of the trip

Sadly I hadn't been back to Disney in about two years. This all changed when I looked down at my phone to see a text message from Britt. . .

"Possibly going to Disney in two weeks, you down?"
(I am not actually sure what she said, but I am sure she wouldn't mind my talent of paraphrasing.)

This was quickly followed by me calling Britt . . .

We bought our tickets, thank you very much the state of Florida for your lovely 4 parks for $99 deal, without you this trip would not have been possible.

The two week countdown began, however it didn't hit me until pretty much the night before we left.

Lately !

These are some pictures from my life lately <3

Freezing our behinds off while cheering for those lady rams!
Just call me Coach!

I make an adorable Easter bunny !

Easter morning at church with darling dear Bethany. My hair was obviously a mess but it was okay because Jesus is risen!

Fun trip to the mall with Ruth, Mary and Britt.
All dolled up and looking cute for the free local country concert. My boots are my favorite accessory, I heart them!

I am a GATOR fan and sadly Michelle is a GEORGIA fan. It can sometimes be a love/hate relationship. I love her anyways !

My baby girl, she goes by Snow White. Yes I did name her, thank you very much. Her name at first was Swifty, but I think Snow White fits her much better.

P.S. Snow White is going to be getting her very own blog post soon about a recent experience. Lets just say hold onto your seatbelt folks!

When the good Lord was creating mothers, He was into His sixth day
of overtime, when an angel appeared and said, "You're doing a lot of
fiddling around on this one." And the Lord said, "Have you read the
spec on this one? She has to be completely washable, but not plastic;
have 180 movable parts, all replaceable; run on black coffee and
leftovers; have a lap that disappears when she stands up; a kiss that
can cure anything from a broken leg to a disappointed love affair; and
six pair of hands." The angel shook her head slowly and said, "Six
pairs of way." "It's not the hands that are causing me problems,"
said the Lord. “It's the three pairs of eyes that mothers have to have."
"That's on the standard model?" asked the angel. The Lord nodded. "One
pair that sees through closed doors when she asks, 'What are you kids
doing in there?' when she already knows. Another here, in the back of her
head that sees what she shouldn't, but what she has to know, and of
course the ones here in front that can look at a child when he goofs up
and say, 'I understand and I love you,' without so much as uttering a word."
"Lord," said the angel, touching his sleeve gently, "Rest for now.
Tomorrow...." "I can't," said the Lord. "I'm so close to creating
something close to myself. Already I have one who heals herself when
she is sick, can feed a family of six on one pound of hamburger, and
can get a nine year old to stand under a shower."
The angel circled the model of the mother very slowly. "She's too soft," she sighed.
“But tough!" said the Lord excitedly. "You cannot imagine what the
mother can do or endure." "Can she think?" "Not only think, but she
can reason and compromise," said the Creator.
Finally the angel bent over and ran her finger across the cheek.
There's a leak," she pronounced. "I told you, you were trying to put
too much into this model." "It's not a leak," said the Lord. "It's a tear."
"What's it for?" "It's for joy, sadness, disappointment, pain,
loneliness and pride."
"You're a genius," said the angel.
"The Lord looked somber, "I didn't put it there."

( For some odd reason most of the pictures I have with my mom, even when I was younger, happen to be taken at Christmas time, most of them happen to be taken in front of Christmas trees. )
